Superboys of Malegaon is a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the town of Malegaon. The town’s residents use Bollywood cinema to escape from their daily lives. Nasir is inspired by the people of Malegaon to make a film for the people of Malegaon. He gathers his motley crew of friends to bring his vision to life and give the town a new look. The film is a moving and heartwarming look at cinema and friendship and what happens when these two worlds collide.
